Etapa de potencia estéreo de referencia, de alta potencia, dentro de la gama Ultima. El Chord Electronics ULTIMA 3 es una etapa monobloque de alta potencia que entrega 480 W a 8 Ω y 1.000 W a 4 Ω mediante la topología de corrección de error dual feed-forward de Chord. Comparte el formato de chasis de la ULTIMA 5/6, aunque con un cuerpo más profundo para alojar su fuente de alimentación de mayor tamaño. Entradas XLR balanceadas invertidas y no invertidas, además de RCA no balanceadas, alimentan bornes de altavoz chapados en oro y aptos para bi-cableado.
